Summary: Something is seriously affecting Puck’s playing abilities and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by Coach Beiste. She questions him about it and he confides her.
A/N: Basically, I love the idea of a Puck/Beiste mentorship. And given no other adult gives a fuck about Puck, Beiste seems like the one person who would actually bother to try and help him. Based around the return of Shelby Corcoran and Beth, it’s a scene I would love for Puck to have but know he’ll never get. This is unbeta’d and just written off the bat so I apologise for any spelling/grammar errors or awkward sentencing/ general crapiness.

“Puckerman, get your head in the game! I’ve seen blind chimps who could play a better set than you!”
The disgruntled cry of Shannon Beiste echoed around the football field as she watched on of her best players get tackled to the ground for what had to be the fifth time within the half hour they had been practising. Noah Puckerman was one of her best players, normally the one shameless flooring his team-mates, so seeing him get whipped so badly, and during practice, was not the most reassuring thing to witness.
